Zac Burrell is a country music singer, songwriter, and musician out of Washington State. His music is a powerfully written dose of country, with a unique blend of blues and pop. From touring with his nationally known rock band Night Argent as their drummer (2013-present), he has played a huge part in the bands success. From a National Television Debut on AXS TV in 2013, winning the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands contest in 2015 at The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, performing Vans Warped Tour 2014-2016, SXSW 2015, 2016, to recording at Robert Lang Studios 2016 and Rainmaker Studios 2018. Since being involved as a drummer of a national touring rock band, Zac has been turning heads in the country music scene with his own music as well.
In 2018, Zac decided to pursue a solo career by working with producer Sean Walker of Synergy Studios, and Multi-Grammy winning engineer Andrew Mendelson of Georgetown Masters. Shortly after, he released his debut EP titled “Part One” (2018). With the release of his very first EP, Zac has been gaining popularity rapidly; his song “Cowboy” went #1 respectively on a Northwest Independent Country Radio Chart via Ed Daily on K.O.R.D. Legends of Country radio, and Airplay Express, earning him his very first Gold record.
Since starting his solo career, Zac has opened for many major groups in the country music world such as Old Dominion, James Otto, Wade Hayes, Trick Pony, Keith Anderson, Ty Herndon, Jason Michael Carrol, Sawyer Brown Band, Rust On The Rails, Zack Hinson and more. Off stage, Zac is best known for his daring sense of creativity, as shown in the Rainmaker Studios production of his debut music video “Cowboy”.
In Spring of 2019, Zac signed an endorsement deal with Breedlove Guitars and was the featured artist for the month of July. Zac was invited to perform Summer NAMM’s Backstage Pass in Nashville, TN. Two months later, Zac returned to Nashville to perform at Breedlove’s Singer Songwriter Series for Americanafest.
More recently, Zac is spending time writing, producing, recording new music and continuing to catalogue new material for a sophomore release. Entering into 2024, Zac is more than ready to start touring as an opener, and performing as a small act with a fresh repertoire of songs. Zac is poised to start hitting the road and continuing to make relationships with new listeners around the nation.
